2024 Prestige Inhome Care Annual Awards

On Thursday 25th July 2024, Prestige celebrated its most anticipated event of the year – the Prestige Inhome Care Annual Awards Night. Our fourth Awards Night marked the culmination of 12 months of nominations for Prestige Star Awards, an integral part of our employee Reward and Recognition Program.

The Program acknowledges the exceptional efforts our employees put in daily, ensuring hard work and dedication does not go unrecognised.

The Star Awards are aligned to the 5 Prestige values – Be Client Focused, Be Kind, Find the Joy, Create Trust and Be Agile.

Throughout the past year, Star Award recipients were contenders for the prestigious titles of Direct Care Employee of the Year and Office Employee of the Year. These outstanding winners exemplified extraordinary work performance and service excellence.

And the Winners Are...

Direct Care Employees of the Year

Adam

Adam, a Personal Care Attendant from the Sunshine Coast team, is always willing to help out with picking up shifts at short notice and ensures all the clients he visits receive the best possible service at all times.

We consistently get compliments from clients on how great he is.

Recently Adam took the lead role for a new high-needs client who placed his trust in him immediately. He assisted other care staff with building their own relationship with our client to help him transition to his new home.

For his outstanding work ethic and dedication to clients, Adam is an inspiration to the Prestige team.

Dick

Dick, our second Direct Care Employee of the Year has a great reputation as a Trust Master. A Personal Care Attendant from the Melbourne team, he consistently delivers outstanding quality of service to his clients. He receives numerous compliments for his warm and caring manner, and the way he looks after his clients and supports their families.

Dick will often stay later than required if needed and is always proactive in anticipating clients’ needs with empathy and understanding.

Dick’s dedication, compassion and his commitment to going above and beyond for his clients truly sets him apart.

Office Employee of the Year

Faizah

Faizah, Senior Client Coordinator – Geelong, has made a significant impact in many ways. She’s Agile, Client Focused and Kind.

She is known for her client-centred approach, always focussed on understanding clients and their care needs.

Faizah has dedicated herself to client satisfaction and is committed to supporting our valued support workers. By nurturing a culture of appreciation, she inspires our caregivers to consistently deliver high-quality care and create meaningful connections with our clients.

In her pursuit of excellence Faizah, as a client service coordinator has taken it upon herself to ensure she interacts with the client, going out of her scope to actively visit clients and immersing herself in the entire client experience.  By doing so, she has gained invaluable insights and firsthand understanding of the challenges and joys our clients experience daily.

Faizah consistently demonstrates outstanding qualities, making her an invaluable asset to our organisation.

Prior to announcing the winners, Prestige’s Chief Operating Officer (COO), Thea McCroary said, “Its amazing how strong our Reward and Recognition Program has become at Prestige and I feel such pride reading all the wonderful nominations.”

Congratulations Adam, Dick and Faizah!

15 Years of Dedicated Service

Prestige’s Annual Awards Night also celebrates the service of those employees who have been with Prestige for 10 and 15 years.  In particular, Chief Executive Officer Nick McDonald thanked COO Thea for her 15 years of dedicated support and leadership of Prestige.
