Susan’s story and philanthropic contributions have been recognised by the Governor General and the City of Melbourne with Susan being awarded the Companion of the Order of Australia (AC) in 2018, and Melbournian of the Year in 2017.

Now, you too can hear her inspiring story first-hand. Not just her long list of achievements, but how she faced and fearlessly smashed stereotypes, discrimination, and inequality throughout her career in industries that were typically dominated by men.

Susan will be sharing her story on Wednesday, March 2 at the Prestige Inhome Care inaugural International Women’s Day Luncheon.

Her lived experience in confronting stereotypes, discrimination, and inequality are all issues that this year’s International Women’s Day aims to address through its #BreakTheBias campaign.   

Several other powerhouse women – including Julie Murphy from Palliative Care South East and Sue Williams from Cabrini Health – will also be joining Susan and Bayside City Council Mayor Cr Alex del Porto on stage for a discussion on how we can all stand together to #BreakTheBias in our workplaces and communities.
