A Heartfelt Approach to Care
Melody is a natural fit for care work and is dedicated to being there for her clients. She understands that some clients are isolated and lack supportive systems. “I want my clients to feel they have someone to rely on,” she says.

A Wealth of Knowledge and Experience
Melody has a Bachelor of Social Work, a Certificate of Understanding Dementia and she recently completed a PEPA Aged Care placement in palliative care, giving her a deeper understanding of palliative client needs. “I cannot wait to share this knowledge and support my clients,” she says.
Thinking of Prestige values, what value do you relate to most?
“Be Kind – I am very empathetic when supporting our clients and the team”, she said. “Where there is kindness there is willingness to go above and beyond in everything while showing compassion.”

I enjoy the people at Prestige. I love their team spirit, the support they show each other and their elients, and the willingness to collaborate and work together to make life better for clients.

You are a proud mother of three children. What do you love about being a mum?
I have a son who is 11, an 8 year old daughter and a 19 month old baby daughter. They bring me so much joy and my favourite thing about being a mother is seeing myself in my children. I’m so proud of their kindness, I love their hugs, and how they show and tell me how much they love me.
