Prestige Inhome Care Client Services Manager, Kelly recently sat down with the Wentworth Courier journalist Angela Saurine to discuss some of the pressing issues facing Australia’s ageing population.

Kelly shared her insights on the local issues impacting the Aged Care industry, such as the high demand for aged care workers among the ageing population. With the overarching topic being ageing well, Kelly also highlighted how in-home care benefits people to maintain their independence and live well at home.

With over 12 years of experience in the industry, most of them with Prestige Inhome Care, Kelly brought a wealth of knowledge to the conversation. She discussed navigating Home Care Packages and the challenges seniors face in accessing safe and reliable transport. 

In the article, published on May 22, 2024, Kelly is quoted on ways recruiting opportunities can be improved, tackling the visa delays experienced by skilled care workers from overseas and the challenges retaining in-demand nurses.
